How to find out who is tracking you, and how to stop them

There are five separate ways someone can see where you are in SafX. Each one has its own screen, each one shows you a list of who has access, and each one can be revoked from that same screen.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know who is tracking me on SafX?

Open Family Monitor and select the "Monitoring You" tab. It is headed "People monitoring you" and names every person approved to monitor you, with a Remove access button beside each. Also check the Requests tab for anyone waiting on your approval, your active public share links, any live location share running in a chat, and the agency sharing switch in Settings -> Account -> Privacy & sharing.

How do I stop someone from monitoring me on SafX?

Open Family Monitor -> Monitoring You, find the person, and tap Remove access. Their access ends immediately. If they are also a trusted contact, remove them separately from the Network tab, because those are two different kinds of access.

Can someone track me on SafX without me knowing?

No. Monitoring requires a request from them and an approval from you, and every approved monitor is listed under Family Monitor -> Monitoring You. Trusted contacts see your live position only during an emergency. Public share links and chat live shares are created by you and expire on a timer you set.

How do I stop sharing my location in SafX?

Switch off Always-on location sharing in Settings -> Safety -> Location, stop any active public share links from the share dialog, end any live shares running in your chats, and remove anyone listed under Family Monitor -> Monitoring You. To go further, revoke the Location permission in your phone settings — but emergency alerts will then carry no location.
